Our stunning new cottages are situated in the village of Sopley, near Christchurch on the western edge of the New Forest on the Hampshire and Dorset border.

Sopley Cottages are part of the Avon Tyrrell Estate.  The Estate has been owned by the Manners family for over two hundred years and the cottages are family owned and managed by the Estate team.

Sopley Cottages comprise three cottages: Bell Hatch, School House and The Study plus a small laundry building which is available for guests to use.  

These compact and beautiful cottages are all semi detached and contained within the former Sopley Primary School and School Master’s House.  The Avon Tyrrell Estate team have renovated the Victorian buildings to create elegant and comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation with access to the New Forest area and beyond.

Whether looking for a romantic break, a venue for a family gathering or a place from which to explore our wonderful corner of the New Forest, the Sopley Cottages are the perfect place to stay.
